Stop slouching and straighten up

Posted by Bobby Brown on July 25, 2020 - 7:37pm

We are nothing but a jellyfish lying on the surface, without our spines. This structure keeps us upright and that is something we take for granted. By picking up a heavy load and struggling to straighten up, we all had those days when we exerted the day before. Over 40 people per million worldwide are affected by spinal injuries and these are the serious injuries. That doesn't account for all of us experiencing aches and pains.

It can sound very dumb, asking you to sit up straight or walk up straight with your back shoulders and pulling in your belly. Yet it will strengthen your heart, and hold your spine straight. Regular exercise to strengthen the muscles in the heart, back and legs helps to improve the health in the spine. We spend a lot of time sitting down on a comfortable sofa watching tv, whether it is at work, socially or those endless hours. Today we don't say don't do these things, just do them attentively. Use good back support chair. Hold your spine straightened, shoulders back and head high while seated in a chair.

Good posture allows for correct alignment of all your joints and bones so that our muscles are used properly. Good posture will also reduce the tension that affects your spine on your muscles and joints and will give you a healthier back. Reading this article takes care of how you lie. Healthy posture also helps counter fatigue. We quickly become exhausted when we sit or walk slouched over. Do a favor to yourself and body and straighten up.

Kevin Jacobson That's a great tip. I haven't paid much attention to that. Maybe I am slouching. Actually I am right now. oops.
