This Could Save Your From A Heart Attack or Stroke ( A Must Read)

Posted by Bobby Brown on September 17, 2025 - 1:32pm Edited 9/17 at 4:59pm

This single molecule may save your life from heart attack or stroke. Nitric oxide actually can prevent heart attack or stroke. And scientifically, we look at this through the function of platelets. Platelets are part of our blood cells that actually activate and form clots. And that's absolutely necessary because if we cut our arm or have a cut, we want the platelets to clot it so we don't bleed out. But hyperactive platelets can actually lead to an unintentional clot formation. And if that clot occurs in the coronary arteries, we call that an ischemic heart attack or myocardial infarction. If that clot occurs in the cerebral arteries, we call that an ischemic stroke and it's a thrombus. And so what we know is that platelets have their own nitric oxide synthase enzyme. And the same dysfunction we see in that enzyme in the endothelial cells can occur in the platelets themselves. So naturally produced nitric oxide within the platelet prevents platelet activation. When the platelets lose their ability to make nitric oxide and when the endothelial cells lose the ability to produce nitric oxide, we start to get an upregulation of adhesion molecules. Now platelets begin to stick, monocytes, neutrophils, we call that vascular inflammation. And then when there's no nitric oxide, platelets become hyperactive and platelets start to stick together. They develop a clot. That clot becomes a dislodge in a coronary artery, a small blood vessel, and that can manifest as transient ischemic attacks, heart attack, or stroke. So again, it's the production of nitric oxide that prevents platelet activation and prevents blood clotting formation. If we restore the body's ability to make nitric oxide, restore the function of the NOS enzyme in the endothelial cells, in the platelets, then we can have normal circulation and no unexpected clot formation, and it can save you from heart attack or stroke, learn more today!

Simon Keighley Super insightful - The connection between nitric oxide, platelet function, and preventing serious cardiovascular events like heart attacks and strokes is so crucial and often overlooked. Thanks for breaking it down so clearly.
