What Is Redox?

Posted by Bobby Brown on November 20, 2020 - 10:12pm

Redox is short for reduction/oxidation and refers to redox signaling molecules and the process cells use to communicate by gaining or losing electrons. Redox signaling molecules are what cells use to communicate within and without the cell (internally and externally). These are also referred to as Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) and there are other molecules that different types of cells use to communicate such as Reactive Nitrogen Species, Reactive Sulfur Species, and Reactive Carbon Species. For example, bacteria are single cell organisms and they use carbon redox molecules to communicate. With better redox signaling, everything works better in the body. For example, Asea increases the efficiency and utilization of glutathione and superoxide dismutase by 500%!

Why Do You Need Redox Signaling Molecules?

Over time our body’s redox signaling molecules decrease due to toxicity, pathogens, environment, and aging. The inability of cells to communicate properly is at the core of many problems in the body. ASEA contains redox molecules that can help the cells communicate efficiently and thereby do what they are designed to do: heal and repair. In addition, ASEA contains redox signaling molecules which means they are completely non-toxic and at home in the body. Blueberries are great and we highly recommend you eat them, but blueberries are not native to the body. ASEA can be put anywhere in or on the body–it is less toxic than water. Your cells and even a fetus as it is growing is bathed in redox molecules. Thanks to new studies we can also say ASEA changes the genetic expression of 5 key genes in the body that: 1) Improve immune system health  2) Help maintain a healthy inflammatory response  3) Help maintain cardiovascular health and support arterial elasticity  4) Improve gut health and digestive enzyme production  5)  Modulate hormone balance to support vitality and wellness
