“Happy New Year!” Have these words got caught in your throat this year? We often welcome the new year as the beginning of something new.
The Coronavirus has disrupted our homes, our churches, our workplaces and our families. As it continues to cast a shadow over every aspect of our lives, can we truly wish one another a “Happy New Year?”
Hebrews 10:23 tells us: “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.” We can hold unswervingly to our hope in Jesus not because we are steady, but because He is faithful. Jesus will not fail to shower you with His grace, He will not change His good purposes for you. He will never stop walking beside you as your Good Shepherd.
We have an assured Hope, amid the uncertainly of 2021, that Jesus is our hope and He with us!
