Comdirect-Investor Petrus nimmt Aareal Bank ins Visier
In an interview, Petrus partner Till Hufnagel announces further commitments in Germany - according to financial circles, Aareal Bank is one of them.
Frankfurt Till Hufnagel is satisfied. The partner of the investor Petrus Advisers sold an eight percent stake in the online bank Comdirect to Commerzbank - and made a decent profit. Commerzbank paid EUR 15.15 per share to Petrus, as can be seen from the sales agreement published in the “Bundesanzeiger”. The investor, who is actively trying to influence the business strategies of his portfolio companies, had entered the market at significantly lower prices in 2017.
Petrus Advisers was founded in 2009 by the Austrian Klaus Umek, who had previously worked as an investment banker for the US investment bank Goldman Sachs for twelve years - including in Frankfurt, London and Moscow.
