Geneva - The World Health Organization (WHO) is now officially speaking of a "pandemic" in the wake of the corona crisis.

There are around 118,000 confirmed infections in 114 countries, said WHO Director General Tedros Ghebreyesus on Wednesday. But these numbers told "not the whole story".

81 countries have not reported a single case so far, 57 countries have ten or fewer confirmed cases. All countries are still in the hands of changing the direction of this pandemic.
