The Power of Leverage

Archimedes, the Greek mathematician, is thought to have said that given a long enough lever and the right place to stand, he could move the earth. Archimedes didn’t believe this because he prided himself on his great physical strength. Instead, he was utilizing the principle of leverage. 

Leverage allows us to achieve greater results while expelling disproportionate effort. 

It is one of the pillars of living a more effortless life. 

If you truly want to accomplish what you were meant to accomplish, you must learn to utilize leverage. You can create leverage in your life in a number of ways:

• Leverage positive behavior by creating a habit that serves you over and over. 
• Leverage your time by automating menial tasks, freeing your time to pursue more meaningful things. 
• Leverage your influence and build trust by really listening and showing empathy to those you love and lead.
