Russell Brand did what a reporter is supposed to do and gets flamed for it. He reported on what another reporter, a highly respected lawyer and Pulitzer Prize winning journalist, dug up and reported on. That is journalism. Journalism does not care, or at least should not care, about who a story harms or supports, it should only care about the truth, presented in polished form, in an unbiased manner to allow the reader to make up their own mind. That is what Russell Brand has been doing now for a while. A lone, British comedian working by himself in England is doing a much better job than the multi-billion dollar media complex here in the the US on reporting on things happening in the US. That, by itself, is a damning indictment of the media here.
