She describes how she discovered the nursing home scandal when she learned that COVID deaths that occurred in hospitals were not being counted. New York nursing homes were not only forced to accept patients who had coronavirus, but Cuomo’s order prohibited them from being to test people before readmitting them. She shares how there are theories that Cuomo was not in fact following any science, but the suggestions of hospital industry lobbyists.She also reveals that Andrew Cuomo signed an order giving nursing homes blanket immunity only a few days after the original order. Janice describes how the mainstream media ignored the Andrew Cuomo nursing home scandal story. Instead they showered him with non-stop praise including appearances with his brother Chris Cuomo on CNN. The Andrew Cuomo sexual harassment allegations have finally made the media become more critical of him. Janice described how she was warned to “watch her back” by people close to the Cuomo family. She has been warned about how he uses bullying tactics to silence dissent even against Democratic allies like Ron Kim. Janice shares a few stories from her book “Make Your Own Sunshine”. She discusses how important good news stories are to affect our positive thinking, especially during difficult times like these.
