Recently at one of my writing assignments for this group I indicated that I went to San Francisco to visit my friend Eileen and Gus and I decided to live there and become a representative for large format painters. This was in fact one of the most enjoyable periods of my life. I met so many different artists from painters to writers to musicians and to sculptures.

I also mentioned that as part of my research/preparation I was hired by two galleries in San Francisco as a sale person. What I realized this was not the way that I want to present art or market for artist and future clients.

This was without a doubt one of the most enjoyable times of my life I say again. I was filled with so much anticipation,energy,drive and goals for my future.  I wrote my own contract between myself and the artist which general would be 80 to 90%. for the artist and 10 to 20% to the business. I started thinking and formulating how that would be done. Hold on to your seats cuz this is quite a story. 

I would look for real estate all over the country that would encompass a good size house with on large area for seating in the outside patio for about 20 persons for tables with umbrellas, a barbecue pit and a swimming pool that look more like a pond with Kio Fish. Plants of of all colors and trees growing to accent the dinning area and house. The lot needed to provide a large parting area not far from the house for the guest. 

As guest entered the house it  would be quite a different the entrance from most houses. The space would open to a large seating area for about 20 to 50 persons. A large stage at the front, two bathrooms for male and female followed on the back of ground floor by several smaller rooms which would be behind a large kitchen equipped to be able to feed quite a number of people. The stairs leading to the second floor would be hidden behind rooms and kitchen. 

The second floor would include my bedroom with full bath room and separate room for my office,  A space for equipment such as photography dark room and large format copiers. A library,TV room and conference room for 12 folks…..and whatever else I could think of putting up there. 


On entering the house the seating for 20 to 50 people would be a large stage facing the seats for performances by musicians, singers, dances writes, painter and sculptures. As an example the painter featured at this event would talk with audience and the walls would be surrounded by his original work. There would be racks around the outside with prints of the artist original works that would be sold to the audience. .


The back rooms would have photo albums of black and white photos taken by me and video presentations of the artist at work in their environment their studio.


Artists of all kinds genre would be invited providing a rich, humorous, educational and spirit fill evening. A meal with wine would be served to the invited guest soon on arrival to the outdoor patio. Soft pleasant jazz would be playing in the background for the dinners. With dinner finished guest would proceed  to the house for the event. The event would be scheduled from 8 PM to Midnight. 
This is my passion. There are many things at works now to make my passion come  to pass within the next 3 years
