Nuts yes, but in pure form
Butters made from nuts are a trendy food with a "healthy" calling card, which can be true, but only if you don't consume the whole package at a sitting and it's really just pure mixed nuts. These products are a great source of fat, but they have a high energy value, so you should not overdo it with their consumption. A teaspoon, maybe two, that's the maximum.
Careful with vegetable chips
Even the much-loved vegetable chips are not as healthy as they might seem. Although they are slightly better than classic potatoes, they definitely cannot be considered dietary. They usually contain too much salt and fat, and not enough nutrients. This delicacy is also traditionally fried.
Rice sandwiches
Rice sandwiches are usually low in fat and calories, but generally low in nutrients. "You'll find fiber and some protein in them, but that's usually where the list of nutrients ends. Due to the lack of nutrients, it will not fill you up very much and will make you hungry very quickly.
Agave or chicory?
Even the much praised agave syrup is not the best option for a diet, quite the opposite. This is because it is usually an industrially processed product that contains a large amount of fructose, often more than 70%. Such a large amount of fructose can cause digestive problems, and long-term consumption causes fat to be stored on the abdomen. It also puts a strain on the liver.
Sweets? Chocolate is best!
Whether a muesli bar or a bowl of cereal is healthy depends on which cereal you reach for. Some types, such as baked muesli, are full of sugar and various flavourings, and are often unsparingly processed. The same applies to a number of bars, crackers or crisps.
Happy dieting !
