Released in 1975, Born to Run is the third album by “The Boss.” Bruce Springsteen recorded it at Sound Studios in New York, as well as NYC’s The Record Plant. This forty-minute heartland rock album was produced by Columbia Records. Mike Appeal and Jon Landau teamed up with Springsteen to write the famed singles on Born to Run, including “Thunder Road” and “She’s the One.”

Music critics have, across the board, considered Born to Run one of the greatest rock albums of all time. The vinyl is worth around $5,500, but the lyrics to the song (on the original handwritten manuscript) are valued at $300,000 at Sotheby’s Auction House.
