Released on the Fontana label, Wil Malone’s eponymous vinyl record was also released as an album and LP. It was first released in the UK in 1970, and the rock album was recorded in acoustic style. The A-side had six tracks, beginning with “Catherine Wheel” and ending with “Caravan.”

The B-side of Wil Malone had six tracks as well, starting with “Down Maundles” and ending with “How About Then.” Malone was credited as the producer (though he used his full first name, Wilson, in the credits). Mike Bobak was the sound engineer, and Morgan Music Co Ltd. was the publisher.
