
Bitcoin's (BTC-USD) price perked up Wednesday, briefly testing its all-time highs, as U.S. equities rebounded after two straight days of losses.
The cryptocurrency gapped up to its record high of $111.9K recorded in Mid-May earlier in the session, before paring gains to $110.8K as of 4:51 p.m. ET (+1.7% in past 24 hours).
At the same time, all three major U.S. stock indices closed the session in the green, as Nvidia (NVDA) became the first publicly traded company to hit $4T in market cap.
A number of altcoins outpaced bitcoin (BTC-USD) at press time, including Stellar (XLM-USD) +10.4%, Uniswap (UNI-USD) +8.7%, Pepe (PEPE-USD) +6.7%, Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) +6.7% and Hedera Hashgraph (HBAR-USD) +5.8%.
Crypto-related stocks were more mixed, though. Coinbase (COIN) gained 5.4%, Strategy (MSTR) drifted up 4.7%, HIVE Digital Technologies (HIVE) +10.8%, CleanSpark (CLSK) +7.5%, Bit Digital (BTBT) -4%, Greenidge Generation (GREE) -0.6% and BIT Mining (BTCM) -0.4%.
