The team behind Hamster Kombat, one of the most successful Telegram-based games, has released information on the exchanges that are confirmed to list its token after the upcoming airdrop. The team has announced that HMSTER will be available on Bybit, Bitfinex, and Okx, but has not given word on a possible Binance listing yet.
Hamster Kombat, one of the largest and most successful Telegram-distributed “clicker” games has been slowly releasing information about the exchanges listing its HMSTR token after its airdrop, slated to happen on September 26. The game, which has reached over 300 million active users, will distribute its token to millions, who are expected to be directed to exchanges to trade their bounties.
The first exchange that was confirmed by the team to list HMSTER was Okx on August 30. Bybit was the second exchange to announce that it would include HMSTR in its trading platform on September 3. This was almost guaranteed, as Bybit already offers HMSTR spot pre-market trading options on its platform.
On September 6, Bitfinex, another cryptocurrency exchange, also confirmed that it would list HMSTR for trading on its platform.
Nothing has been said about the possibility of Binance, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges, listing Hamster Kombat’s token. However, there is still time until the airdrop and token generation event happens and more partner exchanges can be announced.
Hamster Kombat is facing legal troubles in Russia, where angel investors alleging involvement in the project’s beginnings hold a claim against its team, affirming that they financed part of the game’s development and are entitled to revenues.
This worried Russian media, who stated that this might affect the possibility of HSMTR being listed by cryptocurrency exchanges. Nonetheless, given the number of exchanges announced to partner with Hamster Kombat in its token launch, this has not affected the listing negotiations between the team and interested exchanges.
