The rare record sold for $290,500 at auction to an anonymous buyer from the Midwest. The record’s sale estimate was $30,000, so the bidding far exceeded that price.

The record-breaking sale was hosted by Heritage Auctions in Dallas, Texas. The UK Parlophone record had the original vinyl gatefold sleeve and high gloss cover, which is amazing, considering that it is over fifty years old. The record was released on May 26, 1967, and the signatures were made in June of 1967.
