The Abundance Blueprint, Part 2: Clarity is Power

Posted by Olov Forsgren on June 03, 2026 - 1:40pm Edited 6/3 at 1:40pm

The Abundance Blueprint, Part 2: Clarity is Power

Abundance is not an accident. It is the result of conscious design.
Here, you move from vague wishes to a clear blueprint, defining the
life you intend to build, pillar by pillar.

Welcome back to the Blueprint. In Part 1, we did the essential work of clearing our mental soil, shifting from a mindset of scarcity to one of abundance. If you did the work, you've already taken the most difficult step.

Now, we get to do the fun part: placing our order with the universe.

Imagine walking into a restaurant and telling the waiter, "I'd like some food, please." What would you get? Maybe a glass of water, maybe a bread basket, or maybe just a confused look. The waiter can't possibly bring you the meal you truly desire because your request is too vague.

The universe works in exactly the same way. It is a cosmic kitchen that can deliver anything you want, but it cannot process a vague order. "I want more money" or "I want to be happy" are the energetic equivalents of "I'd like some food."

To manifest abundance, you must move from vague wishing to crystal-clear intention. Clarity is power.

We don't chase things; we chase the feelings we believe those
things will give us. Aim for the feeling first—the freedom, the
peace, the security. The rest will follow.

From Dollar Signs to Daydreams: The Feeling is the Target

Many people think the goal is to pick a number—"I want to manifest $100,000." While having a financial target can be useful, it's not the source of power. The real magnetic energy comes from the feeling that the money will provide.

Why do you want $100,000?

  • Is it the feeling of freedom to quit a job you dislike?
  • Is it the feeling of security knowing your bills are paid?
  • Is it the feeling of joy as you take your family on a beautiful vacation?
  • Is it the feeling of peace as you pay off all your debts?

Freedom, security, joy, peace—these are the actual targets. When you focus on the feeling, you become an energetic match for the outcome, and the universe can deliver it in ways you might not even have imagined.

A single, prize-winning rose does not make a beautiful garden.
True abundance is found not in one area of success, but in the
harmonious flourishing of all your life's pillars, tended to with
equal care.

The Four Pillars of True Abundance

To help you get even clearer, think of your vision in terms of four key areas. True abundance isn't just a fat bank account; it's a rich life.

  1. Wealth & Resources: This is more than just money. It's the resources, time, and freedom to live your desired lifestyle.
  2. Health & Vitality: This is the energy and well-being to actually enjoy your life. Wealth is meaningless without health.
  3. Love & Relationships: This is the joy of deep connection with a partner, family, friends, and your community.
  4. Purpose & Self-Expression: This is the deep fulfillment that comes from using your unique gifts and contributing to the world.

A truly abundant vision incorporates all four of these pillars, creating a life that is not just rich, but also deeply fulfilling.

This is more than just writing; it's a sacred conversation with
your future self. Create a space that honors this act. Make it
a ritual, not a routine.

Your Action Step: The Art of Scripting

This exercise is one of the most powerful manifestation techniques available. We are going to bring your vision to life on paper. You will write a letter from your future self, describing your abundant reality as if it has already happened.

1. Set the Scene: Find a quiet time and space. Light a candle, play some inspiring music, and grab a journal and a pen that you love using. This is a sacred act of creation.

2. Choose Your Date: At the top of the page, write down a date one year from today (e.g., "May 23, 2027").

3. Begin the Letter: Start the letter with "Dear [Your Name]," and begin writing a letter from your future self to your present self. The key is to write in the past tense, describing the amazing year you've just had.

4. Use All Your Senses: Don't just state facts; describe the experience.

  • Instead of: "I made a lot of money."
  • Try: "I'll never forget the feeling of logging into my bank account this morning and seeing that comma, the sense of absolute peace washing over me. I took a deep breath and smelled the fresh coffee brewing in the kitchen of this beautiful house..."

5. Weave in the Four Pillars: As you write, make sure to touch on all four areas.

  • Wealth: Describe the financial ease, the investments you made, the trip you took.
  • Health: Talk about how vibrant and energetic you feel, the new fitness routine you love, the delicious, healthy food you eat.
  • Love: Describe a beautiful moment with your partner, a hilarious dinner with friends, a meaningful family connection.
  • Purpose: Write about the success of your project, the fulfillment you get from your work, the people you've helped.

6. Focus on Gratitude: The dominant emotion of your letter should be profound gratitude. "I am so incredibly grateful for..." should be a constant theme. You are thanking your past self for doing the work to get you here.

Write for at least 15-20 minutes. Fill the page with emotion, detail, and a deep sense of joyful accomplishment. When you are done, fold it up and put it somewhere safe. You have just created a blueprint.

You now have a clear destination programmed into your personal GPS. You’ve given the universe a specific, emotionally-charged order.

In Part 3, we will learn how to align your personal energy—your vibration—to become a magnet for this new reality, pulling it from the realm of imagination into your physical world.

Olov Forsgren Simon, that's a much more elegant and accurate model than my simple 'chicken and egg' question. 'Feedback loop' is the perfect term for it. You've hit on something crucial: they aren't just ingredients; they're part of a living, dynamic system for growth. Your point that gratitude 'steadies and deepens' the vision is the key that I think many people miss. It’s what turns a fleeting idea into a resilient commitment. So, when that commitment is tested by a real-world obstacle, which part of the loop do you think acts as the primary anchor? Is it the intellectual clarity of the vision, or the deep emotional grounding of the gratitude?

Simon Keighley I would say they reinforce each other in a feedback loop, where a clear vision sharpens what you can genuinely appreciate, and consistent gratitude in turn steadies and deepens that vision into something you’re more likely to act on.

Olov Forsgren This is so well said, Simon. It makes me wonder about the mechanics of it—which is the engine and which is the fuel? Do you find that a clear vision makes gratitude easier to feel, or does practicing gratitude first help to clarify the vision?

Simon Keighley A clear vision combined with genuine gratitude can be a powerful catalyst for turning aspirations into meaningful action and lasting growth.
