Your profile is the first thing a prospect checks. For most accounts on this platform, what they find is the same stock cover every new account ships with, a two-line bio, and nothing behind it. That is the "before" in every picture below — and if you have never touched your cover, it is your account today.
Over the last week the Kit Crew finished complete buildouts on four member accounts: Goran B Edstrom, Jon Bowler, James Otto Gray, and Richard Garcia. Every one was built individually, on the member's own account, with the member's written authorization. No two look alike, because no two members are alike. Here is what that looks like.
Jon's cover was already his — his own aircraft over farmland. Good photography beats anything we could put in its place, so it stayed. The crew recomposed the shot for the profile slot and set his name into the image like aircraft livery, matched to the metal of the plane. Behind the header: his About Me page and his group, The Funding Desk, where he talks about how private money deals actually get funded.
That is a standing rule on every buildout: if your own material is good, it stays yours. The work is to make it read the way it deserves to.
Richard's account had the platform default cover. Now his header is a painting built from his own words — the river from his About Me, his line "stop fighting the current" set into it. And the header is the smallest part. Behind it the crew built his About Me page, his group The Patch Journal with its own splash page, a capture page, and an email sequence written in his voice — plain, direct, the way he actually talks.
Everything in that stack is live on his account right now. His group is at markethive.com/group/thepatchjournal if you want to see a finished one from the inside.
Goran B Edstrom started with a default cover and no group at all — he now has a full presence and runs a group for European small business owners. James Otto Gray has been on this platform longer than almost anyone, and his rebuilt account shows what a veteran's presence can look like. Both get their own before-and-after posts this week.
A finished account, top to bottom: a header designed for you, an About Me page that reads like you wrote it on your best day, a group of your own with a proper splash page, a capture page, and an email sequence in your voice. Built on your account, with your written authorization, and it is yours — you control all of it from the day it is delivered.
No promises about what it earns you — nobody can honestly make that promise, and we don't. What we promise is the work: a presence that looks like someone who takes their business seriously, because you do.
The buildouts ride the E1 upgrade and the crew works the queue in order. The details, the member threads, and the offer are all in the KIT CREW group: markethive.com/group/kitcrew. And if you would rather the crew keeps running your account after it is delivered — keeping it active so you can stay on your business — the splash page on that group has a button for exactly that.
